Curiosity. I had to see what they looked like. Hope they look much prettier when they are all healed up. Now I know why they are so uncomfortable.

Pioneer Day at Grandpa Fowler's Cabin 2009

Grandpa Larry giving Reacher a tender kiss.

Grandpa Larry enjoying a boat ride while nieces' Heidi and Amy do all the work. He just needs a fishing pole to troll for fish.

We love seeing Grandpa Dee enjoying watching his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids enjoy time together as a family. We are so grateful that he built the cabin for all of us to enjoy. He created such an awesome masterpiece. Thanks Dee!

Reacher will soon be running around like all the other kids. He is such a good natured little guy.

Lots of hugs and kisses are important in this family!

Jade riding in grandpa's train up at the cabin. Grandpa made a train to pull behind his 4 wheeler. The kids had a great time riding in it's brightly colored train cars.

2nd Interview

I had a second job interview yesterday. Actually it was test taking. I was really excited about the 2nd meeting except that I had to do some testing. I was on pain medication due to my feet which made it very hard to focus. I am so sad because I don't feel I did very well on the test. My brain seemed to be pretty fuzzy. I really want to work for this company and feel I would be a great employee for them as well as I think I would enjoy the job, plus it is only about 10 mins. from home. I hope I did well enough that my interviewer will offer me the job. I would really like to work for this particular company.

Tuesday, I will be visiting my foot doctor. I think they are healing well, but I hate it when the stitches pull. That is rather uncomfortable. The discomfort keeps me down which I guess is good because it will give my feet a chance to heal. I am a little bored laying around all the time but at least it's not putting pressure on my feet.

Brandon is doing well in school, studying hard and excelling. I'm so proud of him and his accomplishments. He has about 13 more weeks then he will go from Texas to Washington to continue his nursing education. Brandon enjoys the army and likes the structure that he has. He says it keeps him much more focused. Keep up the good work Brandon and we look forward to seeing you in December.

I'm really sad that my memory card for my camera will not fit into this computer. I have to take it up stairs and put it on a zip stick in order to get it to this computer. Lot's of work. Would like to have it be a little easier. Maybe I will have to get a card reader to save me some time. I want to put videos of my grand kids on here. Lots of cute pics of my little munchkins.

Foot Surgery

I had surgery on both of my feet yesterday and they felt fine all day yesterday. Today...they are extremely painful. It's very hard to get around. Monday after I had been home for a few hours, I got a phone call from someone wanting me to come in for a job interview today. I told her I would love to come in for the interview, I did explain that I had foot surgery, so she tried to talk me into not coming in. I insisted that I get an interview time. I hope I made a good impression on her. Hopefully she will get back to me for a second interview. She said if I made it to the second round, I would need to take a drug test. She laughed and said I would not pass because of the pain medications. She said I would have to get proof of the medication I am on. She knew it would show up positive. We both laughed. I would really like a return interview. She needs to fill the position fast and had 70 applicants. I asked her why she picked mine as one of the 20 she would be interviewing. She said she didn't really know other than I live close by. I think it would be a good position for me, and hope I get the job.
